How to Prepare

The Week Before

Client’s prep can be an important part of the electrology process.

To ensure hairs are at opium growth cycles for treatment but also long enough to treat, we recommend shaving all hairs that you desire to be treated about four to five days before your appointment.

Please take the time to fill out your pre-visit client history form. If you don’t fill this out in advance you will need to during your appointment which will cut into your consultation time.

The Day Of

Please refrain from putting lotions, makeups, and creams on the desired treatment area. If possible, have the area as clear of products and gels (including deodorant for underarms if possible).

After Care

Take care to keep the treated area as clean as possible. Within the next 24 hours or longer, try not to touch or irritate the skin. Don’t use makeup or creams on the affected area.

If the area is very irritated, you can apply some aloe vera to the irritated skin, however, be careful as introducing any creams or products can risk infection in rare cases.

Future Appointments

Clients should expect that all hair removal, electrology included, takes time. Clients should expect to come back at regular intervals to ensure optimal results until hair is fully removed.
